DESCRIPTION:
CSC offer for sale this stunning low mileage, low owner 987 Boxster finished in rare Meteor Gray metallic with complimenting Black Leather seats. A rare find in this condition and prospective purchaser will not be disappointed.

The exterior bodywork presents beautifully with nothing more than the odd stone chip to be found and the factory optioned 18” alloy wheels are unmarked. With minimal mileage and use, the convertible hood also remains in superb condition without the usual folding marks and wear and the headlights remain crystal clear without the usual stone damage and clouding so often found on more used examples.

Inside, the interior is also in immaculate condition with no major signs of wear. The black leather seats are unmarked without the usual side bolster wear to the driver’s seat, and even the original floor mats remain in clean undamaged condition. The car was optioned with electrically heated seats which is a welcome addition if a drive out on a clear crisp winters day takes your fancy and the wind deflector keeps the cabin wind buffeting down when driving with the hood down.

On the road, the 2.7 Boxster offers a perfect level of performance and handling for our less than perfect UK roads. The engine can be used as intended without risking hitting triple figures in a few seconds and the slightly more supple suspension and 18” alloy wheels offer a much more forgiving ride than the stiffer and harsher ‘S’ model.

This low mileage example still feels tight and responsive as you would expect with light but accurate controls, and sure footed handling. The 5 speed tiptronic gearbox works well on our congested roads, whilst the steering wheel buttons allow a bit more driver involvement should the opportunity arise on your favourite road.
The best part of any Boxster however is the option to go topless whenever the weather and your mood suits. Be it a hot summer’s day or a crisp fresh autumn morning with the heated seats on, dropping the convertible hood and listening to Porsche’s fabulous flat six exhaust note behind you stirs the senses and is pure driver heaven. HISTORY:
The Boxster was first registered on 30th June 2007 at Porsche Centre Reading and was purchased by the current owner on 1st January 2008 as an approved used Porsche from Stratstone in Wilmslow as a retirement present to themselves.

The Boxster was used sparingly for summer days out until 2018 when ill health saw the car being largely left in the garage unused. The car was used on occasion by the owner’s son to keep it operational and was taken for an annual MOT at the local classic car specialists. Sadly the realisation that the owner would not be able to enjoy the car again saw CSC take in the car in preparation for re-sale.

The Boxster was delivered to Cheshire Porsche specialists Ninemeister for a full inspection and light re-commissioning. A major service and brake fluid change was carried out along with some other minor works and the Boxster returned ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.
