DESCRIPTION:
CSC present for sale this fantastic 1988 UK Specification Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera coupe finished in period Grand Prix White with contrasting Blue Leather interior.
 
From 1987 Porsche introduced a series of updates to the model including the G50 5 speed gearbox with hydraulic clutch which much improved the driving experience. Other improvements included better cabin heating and ventilation and integral rear fog lamps in the rear reflector panel which visually tidied up the rear of the car.
 
This 1988 example, being a sport specification, features the factory front and rear spoilers and sports suspension. The Bodywork of this car presents superbly with no major marks or blemishes and with straight & constant panel gaps all round. The 16 inch Fuchs forged alloy wheels are in superb original condition and complete the classic 911 look.
 
Internally, the blue interior is dominated by the period leather Sports Seats with white piping which offer the perfect combination of comfort and support. The interior is in excellent, clean condition with no major damage or wear and just a light age related patina to show for its 29 years. the electrical items, windows, mirrors and sunroof all work as they should.
 
The front compartment is also in excellent condition with the fitted carpet set in un-blemished condition. The space-saver spare wheel has never been used and the original tool kit roll and tyre inflator are present and correct. At the rear, the engine bay is clean and tidy and looks well cared for, and the engine idles smoothly.
 
On the road the car drives really well. Steering, brakes and gearbox all feel tight and precise as you would expect. The power delivery is smooth and progressive as you change up through the 5 speed G50 gearbox.
 
This classic 911 also comes with a detailed and comprehensive service history file containing pages of service and maintenance receipts going back to 1990 to accompany the service book.
 
All in all, a very presentable, well maintained and useable classic 911 Carrera with sensible mileage and excellent maintenance history. A real tribute to its previous owners and exciting proposition for the next one.

HISTORY:
The car was first registered on 17th October 1988 at JCT600 Porsche of Newcastle to its first owner, a Mr Haley from Hunsworth, Cleckheaton.
The car had seven further keepers over the next twenty years before being purchased by its current owner in May 2016.
 
The service books show regular maintenance by initially Porsche main agents and then mostly independent Porsche specialists in the latter years. There are a total of 21 service stamps in the service book, and a huge file of servicing and maintenance receipts going back to 1990.
