Jaguar started the design process of an all new sports Coupe known as the C-X16 in the late 2000’s and unveiled the concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The official F-Type model was unveiled in convertible form in London before being presented at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The F-Type convertible was made available for delivery in January 2013 and came with 3 model choices, the standard 3.0 V6 model producing 335bhp, the 3.0 V6 S producing 375bhp and the range topping 5.0 V8 S producing 495bhp. The F-Type R would follow in coupe form in 2014 using the V8 engine and producing 567bhp.

When launched in 2013, the F-Type quickly became the perfect flagship sports car for Jaguar, offering E-Type inspired styling and a thrilling driving experience along with quality and style.

This example is a January 2013 5.0 V8 S finished in stunning Firesand Metallic with a Jet Black hood and comes with a superb specification. Externally, the Options included the Design Pack which gives the car a more aggressive, sporty look with additional splitters and sill extensions, and the Black Pack which picks out much of the exterior trim and detailing in Gloss Black. To finish the exterior look, this example was optioned with the 20 inch Tornado Alloy Wheels, again finished in Gloss Black to complement the rest of the exterior styling.

Inside, the sporty theme continues with the superb Performance Seat upgrade which offers 14 way electrical adjustment for the perfect driving position, as well as electrical heating for those chilly days. The interior trim is finished in Mineral Grey Premium leather with contrasting Cirrus stitching giving a very luxurious and quality look and feel.
