DESCRITPION:
CSC present for sale this excellent and rare Audi TT Quattro Sport finished in Mauritius Blue metallic and one 800 Quattro Sports originally allocated to the UK.

In 2005, as Audi was preparing to release the mk2 TT in 2006, the limited edition TT Quattro Sport was launched (called the TT Club Sport in Europe). Designed by Audi’s own in-house sports division ‘Quattro GmbH’ the Quattro Sport was a lightened, more powerful and track focused version on the standard 225 coupe.

With the 1.8 20v turbo engines power increased by 15bhp to 240bhp, 75kg of weight was reduced from the standard car. Recaro Pole Position light weight racing seats replaced the front seats whilst the rear seats were removed altogether. The spare wheel was deleted along with the parcel shelf and Air Conditioning. A rear brace bar was added to increase structural rigidity and the battery was re-located to the rear for better weight distribution. Suspension changes and wider 18” multi-spoke alloy wheels completed the handling package.

Body styling was taken from the 3.2 Quattro featuring a deeper front air dam and larger rear spoiler. The Quattro Sport also featured black tail pipes and gloss black roof and door mirrors.

Inside, the cabin featured lightweight, hard-backed Recaro Pole Position racing seats trimmed in Black leather with Alcantara inserts, and a body coloured rear shell. The steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever were trimmed in Alcantara to enhance the drivers sense of occasion whilst a cargo net was fitted in the rear, suspended from the brace bar to keep loose items in the boot from entering the cabin where the rear seat would normally be.

This Quattro Sport presents very well with straight bodywork and tidy paintwork with just the odd stone chip or light age related mark as you would expect on a car of this age. The alloy wheel finished in shadow chrome do have a few marks here and there but still present well and are shod with a good set of matching Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

The Interior is free from any major wear or damage and all electrics appear to work as they should, with no missing display pixels or broken heater knobs as is so often the case. The superb Recaro Pole Position seats remain in tidy condition with no major wear as so do the carpets and other interior trim items. The boot area retains the luggage net and shows no major signs of use or abuse. It’s the same storey under the bonnet, with everything in good order with all plastic trims etc. in place and looking well cared for.

Mechanically, the car seems in really good order. The engine ticks over quietly and then pulls like a train through each gear with no unusual noises, smoke or other nasties. The clutch and gear box are both smooth and precise whilst the steering is tight and accurate. The brakes feel reassuringly strong and smooth in use. In short, the car drives really well.
